Mariam Mahboob is a graduate of the Honors College at Rutgers University-Newark.  With a major in biology and a minor in sociology, she has always been passionate about the societal implications of research and accessibility in science. She intends to pursue a career in academia to investigate sex differences in addiction.  She is currently a first year graduate student in the neuroscience program at Ichan School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
